Chris Bergman graduated from H.H. Ellis tech in 1988 with an electronics course completion then again in 1990 with a post graduate 2 year avionics course completion from the same school. He started his career in RI at Apex Aviation in Westerly in 1989 and joined the Columbia Air Services avionics department in January of 1993 in Groton CT. He quickly established himself as a dedicated professional. In his over two decades with Columbia he has developed an impressive bank of expertise that has garnered him industry-wide recognition. As Avionics Director, Chris has established an avionics department that enjoys a reputation as experienced innovators, specializing in state-of-the-art installations and upgrades for all makes and models of general aviation aircraft. Chris also currently services on the Board of Directors for the Aircraft Electronics Association.
