Andy Davidson is a 4500-hour pilot with instrument, MEL, and SES ratings. He has over 1000 hours in the TBM. He previously owned a Beech Baron and a Mooney Ovation. His wife, Karie, flys a Piper Archer.
Professionally he is engaged in securities research and analytics, with a focus on mortgage-backed securities product development, valuation, and hedging. He established Andrew Davidson & Co., Inc., in 1992, and was previously a managing director at Merrill Lynch. He has testified before the Senate Banking Committee on issues related to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, mortgages, and mortgage-backed securities.
He also established the non-profit Financial Life Cycle Education Corp. (FiCycle) to enhance financial decision-making for high school students through integrated finance and mathematics education. He holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago and a BA in Mathematics and Physics from Harvard University.
