Loss of Control (LOC) is the leading cause of TBM aircraft accidents. When it occurs in flight, LOC often results in fatalities. When it happens on the ground, significant aircraft damage typically ensues. In this talk, we will explore the causes of LOC in TBMs and examine the conditions under which the risk is heightened. We will also learn what we, as pilots, can do to maintain positive control of our aircraft at all times.
