This event will feature Speakers from Daher, SIMCOM, Columbia Air Services, and more.

• Each speaker is selected for their expertise on the TBM aircraft.
• Our schedule will be finalized 30 days before the event.
• Our sessions are all held on Friday at the Columbia Air Services Hangar.
• Breakfast and lunch will also be served onsite. 

Each session qualifies you for FAA Wings Credit and a certificate of completion to provide to your insurance broker. 

This program addresses the risks associated with travel over or near water by providing pilots, aircrew, and passengers with post-aircraft ditching knowledge and survival skills. This session is held in the facility and not in open water.

• Presentation on hazards, equipment, and procedures associated with over-water flight
• Pre-ditching procedures and landing considerations
• Surface evacuation from a floating and submerging aircraft using emergency exits
• Basic underwater escape SWET (Shallow Water Egress Trainer)
• Full disorientation underwater escape METS® (Modular Egress Training Simulator)

Owners Flights

The focus of the owner flights will be on slow flight characteristics, associated power management, and coordinated flight in addition to recognition and proper response to stalls and engine abnormalities. The session will include a ground briefing, preflight inspections, in-aircraft flight event, and post-flight reviews. 

Companion Flights

A 2-hour companions’ course includes ground school and in-aircraft flight time with a TBM instructor.
Aircraft time can be utilized either on the ground getting comfortable with the TBM radios and avionics or in the air.
