Survival Systems

This program addresses the risks associated with travel over or near water by providing pilots, aircrew, and passengers with post aircraft ditching knowledge and survival skills. 

•Presentation on hazards, equipment, and procedures associated with surface water survival
•Survival psychology
•Surface evacuation from a floating aircraft
•Surface water survival via group and personal hypothermia mitigation (Life raft and immersion suits)
•Search and rescue devices and procedures
•Use of live pyrotechnics

Flying

Owners Flights

The focus of the owner flights will be on slow flight characteristics, associated power management, and coordinated flight in addition to recognition and proper response to stalls and engine abnormalities. The session will include a ground briefing, preflight inspections, in-aircraft flight event, and post-flight reviews. 

Companion Flights

A 2-hour companions’ course includes ground school and in-aircraft flight time with a TBM instructor.
Aircraft time can be utilized either on the ground getting comfortable with the TBM radios and avionics or in the air.

While building his business, David started and managed a successful flying club with over 160 members, 12 airplanes, 15 flight instructors and four A&P mechanics.

David now serves clients as a contract pilot in aircraft ranging from a Piper Cheyenne to King Air 200s to Malibu JetProp to TBM 850.

As if that were not enough, David has over 1,000 hours in jump planes.
