Garmin welcomes TBMOPA members to learn more about their Garmin avionics and flight decks with a live, instructor-led, in-person training program. Garmin training professionals will provide members with scenario-based training with hands-on interaction on real equipment. Training is limited and available for the following avionics platforms:

GTN Xi™/TXi™  Flight Display Training

G1000®/G1000 NXi Pilot Training

G3000™ Integrated Flight Deck Pilot Training

Explore all the capabilities of the Garmin avionics applicable to your aircraft at Garmin Headquarters in Olathe, KS. Intended to serve both novice and experienced aviators, the Garmin course provides scenario-based training with an emphasis on flight planning, instrument procedures, vertical navigation, and the automatic flight control system. Instructors will also discuss GPS Jamming/Spoofing and weather radar operation.

There are 10 slots available for each of the G1000 NXi and GTN Xi/G600 TXi/GFC 600 platforms. There are 4 slots available for G3000 platform. Registration fee includes tour of Garmin Manufacturing and Friday lunch. Space is Limited; Register Today.
